Glaze is a beautifully crafted order & pay solution for cafés, restaurants and venues, where people need to sell drinks, food and even scannable tickets.
I worked as a full-stack developer there, working on the business logic in .NET Core for the backend, creating UI and UX for their Angular frontend, which included two projects: The Manager (where the owners of the café would edit the products, tickets and experiences for the visitors), and The Client App (where upon scanning a QR code, a visitor can view and order a product from the previously created experience in The Manager).
Glaze also has a Google and Apple Wallet support, from where I learned how to create and add wallet passes and tickets to a user's wallet.
Futhermore, Glaze also comes with a mobile application, which as well as The Manager, can be used to view, manage and deliver orders created by the users, but most importantly: scan the QR codes that are attached to the user's order, or to the user's wallet pass, in order to deliver or validate orders/tickets. The app can also connect to BOM printers, in order to print order receipts. While I worked on the full stack in Glaze, the mobile application was my primary focus.
Words can only accomplish so much, so I highly recommend giving this tool a try and seeing for yourself how well built this product is. It is definitely one of my favorite projects I have worked on.
